ABOUT ME

I'm kind of a cheesy person-I laugh at lame jokes and love them. Socially I'm low-key, preferring to hang with a smaller group of people. I'm more of a listener than a talker. I like doing simple things; it doesn't take too much to impress me.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far I've mostly been a "lurker," only checking CS every now and then. I've been to a couple of CS meetings in Frankfurt and had great experiences both times. I am continually amazed by the CS community and want to do more-go to more activities in my town and also CouchSurf myself.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

One night the CS-Frankfurt group met up in a cool place that served just wine. The atmosphere of the place itself was amazing, but the large group of CSers that showed up made it even better. I had such a great time talking to new people and listening to one of the CS ambassadors talk about CS's mission.

Interessen

-Music (pretty much everything; some country songs have a special place in my heart after growing up in Wyoming)
-Languages (I studied German, but I really want to learn Turkish. I know some basics, but not very much yet)
-Traveling (I've lived in Germany twice and was able to see a bit more of Europe the second time around. I'd love nothing more than to be a full-time traveler!)
-Reading
-Yoga
-Cooking (I'm not the best, but I like trying new dishes out and learning how to cook the hard way)

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I am kind of a pop-culture freak. At my house we constantly quote lines from movies and TV shows.

Movies: I'm you're typical girl-I love chick-flicks. Whenever I'm away from home for an extended period of time I bring a couple with me because they're light-hearted, fun, and also good things to have on in the background. I also enjoy musicals and the occasional action film.

Living in Europe was something I never could have conceived of as a child.

I love trivia...my expertise is celebrity stuff.
My career goal is to be a German teacher-teach me your language, I'll try and teach you some German.

I'm really interested in learning about Islam, and that's a topic I like discussing. And if you really know how to cook, let's prepare a meal together!
