CURRENT MISSION

My mission is to roam the world for as long as I like to, to live and work in different cities in countries all over the world.

ABOUT ME

10 months ago I found myself not living the life I wanted to live, so I decided to ask for an unpaid leave and travel to South-America and work in Australia. What I love most about traveling is meeting people who are as open minded as me, always in for a chat, exploring new cultures, countries and cities and who love to hang out and party! I worked in a bar in Lima for 2 months and had the time of my life with the people I met there, from all over the world. What I hope to get from couch surfing is the same experience: new friends to chill and have a good time with.

PHILOSOPHY

" Down with a world in which the guarantee that we will not die of starvation has been purchased with the guarantee that we will die of boredom." I found this quote in a book. It represents my thoughts very well. I want to live my life without restrictions, without fearing other people's comments, just the way I want it. But always with an open mind. So a favourite from an Editors song:
'people are fragile things, be careful what you put them through'

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I joined while traveling. Before I left home I never thought of going couch surfing but some people I met along the way convinced me to try it. If I ever have a couch again, it will be for fellow travelers and friends.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Climbing 1200 meters on a 6,5 km path in little over 2 hours in the Colca Canyon in Peru, hiking an alternative Inca trail up to Machu Picchu, sailing across the street of Magellan, Easter Island, Salt Flats and silver mines in Bolivia, Perito Moreno glacier in Argentina, Iguazu waterfalls Argentina/Brazil, Rocky Mountains in Canada.

Traveling the world on my own gave me the opportunity to meet a lot of very interesting people, the experience of a lifetime.

I can teach you to make some cocktails or shots such as pisco sour, machu picchu, baby guiness and springbok; ride a horse, play football and of course all about the Dutch language, culture and cuisine. And I'm happy to share my travel experiences.

I'd like to learn more Spanish and catch up on my German and I'd very much would like to learn French as it's gotten a little rusty since high school
