About Me

ABOUT ME

I'm a recent college graduate trying to get her life in order by throwing it into complete disarray and chalking up the ensuing adventure as a learning experience.

PHILOSOPHY

You can't be afraid of stepping on toes if you want to go dancing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Having just joined CouchSurfing, all of my experiences have been both vicarious and awesome.

Interests

I boast a serious coffee addiction and a predilection for shoe shopping--or shoe window shopping, as it would be at present. Join me for both! I know a bit more than I should about the fashion industry and could (read: do) spend hours in the magazine section of a bookstore.

I like dancing throughout the day for little energy bursts and bike rides just before bed.

Music, Movies, and Books

My attention span falls short in front of a television screen, but I'm rarely ever without a book or a magazine. And if somewhere along the lines I got stuck in an elevator with Anna Quindlen, I probably wouldn't complain.

I also have a (very well-known) penchant for Taylor Swift and Lady Gaga.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think skydiving in the Swiss Alps pretty much covers both bases.

Teach, Learn, Share

If you were, by chance, to happen upon my house with a bag of sugar and some creativity, I'd be a little overjoyed at the prospect of spending the afternoon in the kitchen. I'm far from an expert baker, but I know enough to use applesauce as the occasional butter substitute and double baker powder when without soda. And that sticking to recipes is overrated.

On the opposing end, I'm working on my cooking skills and would love any/all help learning how to make something other than cereal or eggs, however delicious they each may be.
