About Me

one thing is for sure: the whole world interests me.

i can't stand still in only one place. i'm always doing something even if someone thinks i'm not. because even when i stop my mind is working 24/7. i think a lot, dream a lot and i love sudoku. i spend most of my time reading stuff about things that interest me and i'm moved by my curiosity. i love get in touch with everything that's completely different from me. it helps me grow and by understanding others, i understand a lot of things about myself and this crazy world we live in. i absolutely believe in the best of people and that everything can go better when we just help each other. in brazil we have a saying that's sort of like "kindness generates kindness". smile to someone, is that simple :)

i'm also a bit of an introvert so it comes as really nice to me just stay at home watching movies and/or editing photos or reading. i love my own space and privacy. it really depends on my mood to be honest. but i definitely don't get stressed easily.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

well, i really love meeting new people from different cultures and different realities from mine. i think couchsurfing is all about sharing experiences and i love that as well.

Interests

i love cinema and filmmaking. i write a lot as well, and, probably because of that, i also love to read. i'm interested in all kinds of arts in general, like visual arts, performance arts, music, photography... all of that stuff.

for me is really important to express yourself somehow, and in those things i find my way of doing that.

Music, Movies, and Books

oh this is a hard one

music: i love everything since hip hop to blues, trap to post rock. all sort of good produced music with a nice harmony or something that triggers feelings in me, music i can actually feel and not only listen to. classic bands and music performers such as led zeppelin, pink floyd, queen, the cure, david bowie and bob dylan are also somekind of a must in my day to day playlist.

movies: i'm really into independent productions, mostly because that's what i do and well, you have to know other people who do the same as you right? i love ingmar bergman, win wenders, wes anderson, sophia coppola, noah baumbach and some brazilian people such as anna muylaert and josé padilha (there's more but well i won't extend myself in this matter, there's too much to talk about! haha)
four of my favorite movies, for an example, are amélie, fight club, lost in translation and wings of desire.

books: mostly distopian romances. but i love brazilian literature, with good names such as machado de assis, carlos drummond de andrade and fernando sabino. also love milan kundera and philosophical writers like jean paul sartre and franz kafka.
i guess my two favorite books are for sure fahrenheit 451, by ray bradbury and the unbearable lightness of being, by milan kundera .

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

i did the death road in la paz, bolivia, and survived! haha

there are other things but for a completely clumsy girl this one is by far my favorite

What I Can Share with Hosts

i can definetly share all the amazing things i've done (and other not so amazing things that taught me a lot), my music, books, films! i can share infinite talks about astrology and life and everything in between. good vegan meals, a nice city and good humor.
