Overview
About Me
I am soon to be a Master of Arts, with a specific focus on gender norms and rights.
I love to travel and meet new people, and of course I love to discuss and exchange views on gender and what it means to be a human being in this world.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love to meet new people and exchange experiences and views. Traveling on couchsurfing gives a whole other experience of the country I am visiting and i feel i somehow know the people and culture better.
Interests
I am very interested in different points of views on how life is, and i feel like that a big part of living is learning through other humans.
My biggest interest, I must admit, is how gender is articulated in different cultures.
Otherwise, I take photos and love to experience life through my camera lens.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When backpacking in Kenya and Uganda I stayed at a hotel in a small town just outside Queen Elizabeth National Park. The hotel had "a small problem with water", meaning there was no water. Every evening we all sat outside at the local bar, having a chat with the locals. They told us stories of visits from animals: "It happens that sometimes a leopard or a lion visits the town, but that's normal now." I must admit I got a bit scared, sitting outside in the dark not knowing is any lions were prowling around the shadows. But is was a great experience, that I'll never forget
