ABOUT ME

My friends whould say that I am a social type, and that I have no fear to make contact with other people. I often surprise them with a funny story about what I have experienced.
I am also social in a way that there is always a project that I am working on to improve the social environment. For the last 2 years, together with some other people we started an own hockey club. You have to be a little bit idealistic to do so, and also a positive thinker. But it is a succes, so it is satisfying.

Interests

I like spontaneous acts. I live nearby a canal and I often stare at the boats passing by. Once I decided that it would be fun for me to join them and I waved at a passing boat and asked whether or not I could join a little part of the trip. They said yes and it was fun! I didn't care that I had to walk my way back home.
I like to experience news things, so we went climbing on a wall, participate in a skate trip, go to a sauna far away from home, visit places I have never been before, and most of the time we choose to hitchhike. It is not only cheap, but also a great adventure and a nice way to meet new people!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My trip to Ghana was special. I've lived there for 4 months and get to know the people and the way of life in Northern Ghana. They overwhelmed me with their way of being friendly and helping eachother. I learned how special it can be to help someone.
