I am a french expat in New Zealand, I have been in the country since 2013 and once in a while I go for a little wander and I think the experience is always better when you stay with locals.

I love animals, music, a little red wine. I am fairly chilled but reliable, hope to meet you one of these days ;)

music i would say 70s rock (pink floyd, the doors, etc...)
movies that make you think a bit dark too alas (donnie darko, a beautiful mind, fight club, the butterfly effect, garden state, the perks of being a wallflower) also love period dramas

books : the little prince, gone girl, love a bit of sci fi like distopian worlds

I handfed kittens for a month after their mum died, had to do it every two hours and there were four of them that was pretty rewarding
i taught english in an orphanage in india when i was 18
I break in horses on week ends and train them, it is quite nice building a relationship with them and see them give their all to their rider if you have instilled trust into them
i travelled around australia in a van for three months which was awesome and a good learning curve (turns out we don't need electricity and the internet really, though they are handy).
