ABOUT ME

Hi there couchsurfers !
I am Rémi, 28 yo, from Lille, France.
I'm an outgoing person and I love to travel. My parents gave me their love for traveling. First when I was a kid they took me to places around France, and in my teenage years I got the chance to visit several countries (see places I've been).
The most life-changing experience I lived so far was my year abroad as an exchange student in a host family near Toronto, ON, Canada ! Love AFS! There I've met people from pretty much everywhere.
Other than traveling, I like arts. (music, cinema, literature, drama).
I may add more stuff about myself latter, when I'll be more able to see what's relevant to this section !

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

For now, I'm looking to meet and why not host people from around the globe !
And, sooner or later, catch a bus, a train or an airplane and discover new places and couches !

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted a few couchsurfers and met a lot of them in the summer 2012 in Amsterdam. I stayed there for two month and met a lot with the very active cs comunity there! I made some good friends!

I've never surfed myself through CS though.
However I've travelled by foot with some kids from camp and we met people along the way that hosted us in various places (from a farm in the straw to an old ceiling but also a real comfi room)

I also got to meet couchsurfers who visited Bordeaux and were hosted by friends

I treked through iceland and hitchhiked my way in Canada from Vancouver to Montreal!
