About Me
ABOUT ME
I love dank food, good music, and people no matter what size, shape, color,or creed. I can teach as well as learn, and I can love as well as hurt. I need nature like the ocean needs the wind. Where I was at was creatively stiffing to say the least. I want to make music and paint a huge picture or write something with someone. I want to live and not survive. There is something to be said for balance in ones life and I live every day as thoughtful as I can. I was born in Casper, Wyoming in 1979 and within four years was living in a bus converted into a motor home, traveling all over the country. I loved every minute of it. I have wanderlust big time, and wish traveling was more socially acceptable. Finding this website has opened my mind to the endless possibilities of traveling the world not just the U.S. When I surf someone's couch I like being involved with the host. I feel that I'm there to visit with them not just there place. I want to know about the true heart of a place, off the beaten path, where you used to throw rocks at rabbits, or build forts, or whatever it was I wanna know. That is what I share with people who come to my town that I meet, or help out. I'm really a gruff looking guy, or sometimes people think I'm mad, but I'm really just off in some daydream about a really cool story I haven't written yet.
PHILOSOPHY
If you need help I will give myself to you. If you need my love I will love you like the desert loves the rain. If you don't need anything maybe I do.
Live in peace with yourself by the rapids of acceptance
Treat others as you should treat your mother
Always tell the truth no matter how much it hurts, but do not clear your concious if it inflicts pain on others.
I am responsibe for my feelings.
Love the earth for it has always loved you.
Laugh as if your life depends on it because it does.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I love all people and need to share and experience all that there is to in this wonderful world. I need to learn how to love myself better, and get back to my humble roots. I share what I have with anyone traveling, telling them of CS/Trip Hopping, and connecting with them in the way of the nomad.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have traveled to every state except Hawaii, and Alaska. I lived in a bus from when I was 4 until I was 9 yrs old. It was the best thing that ever happened to me as a child. I ate Malto-meal for all three meals a day some times, but I would not change a thing. I have been to a few Rainbow Gatherings in my life. They were awesome, and I met so many wonderful people. My first one was such a life changing experience, and it tough me that a little hard work goes a long way. I have been surfing for a little over two weeks with the CS website as an aid to my travels, and I never feel alone, like I have in certain places. Even if folks can not host, everyone has sent me a reply, and for that, those few simple words I am grateful. My experience has been wonderful meeting new friends, and coming together in a harmonious, and creative way that enables me to respect others ways possibly changing my own for the better.

Music, Movies, and Books
rjd2,Aesop,jdilla,beastie,el-p,roots,Sage Francis,Johnny Cash, med, sonic sum, atmosphere, rob sonic, mad lib, truth universal, apathy,mf doom, peanut butter wolf, doors,Elvis,Otis, really all music. the really angry music is hard to listen to although everything has a time and, a place.
I have read a lot and haven't paid much attention to authors. I have been greatly influenced by Albert Ellis, Joseph Waughbaugh, Dickens, Dr. Bob, Dr Seuss, Old Yeller, The Grapes Of Wrath, The Onion Field, I read a Tom Clancy book once, it was about 900 Pages and really went on and on and on......So that was the only one I read. The best books are the ones you'd least expect, like OG Mandingo's "The Greatest Salesman In The World"
and, Dean Koonts' "Dragon Tears"
I really liked "Raising Arizona" and "Boondock Saints" as well as "Pulp Fiction" but "In to the Wild" really got me pumped for an adventure! Then there's the "Wiz" with Micheal Jackson and Diana Ross. Tom Hanks in "Big" is one of my faves. I like "Super Troopers" and a really great love story called "Cash-back" its a great film! Wallace and Grommet are hilarious when they do the animals(Creature Comforts) to recordings of elderly folks being interviewed about various subjects.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I saw sublime play in a little bar, with about 40 people in it before they were famous.
Made it coast to coast in 3 days hitchhiking!
Been to seven National Rainbow Gatherings!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach anyone how to macrame a hammock, or a necklace, or how to beat box, or how to write a poem/story.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Anything I have can be shared.
