I've lived in the UK all my life, but I travel whenever I can. I grew up near Winchester on the south coast of England, but moved to London in 2009 for university and I have lived here ever since.

I work for the UK Government and love my job. I am always keen to hear about politics and life in other countries and to learn from others. One of my favourite ways to spend an afternoon is sharing stories in a cosy British pub (or cafe/bar elsewhere in the world) with good food, beer and company!

I have never really been interested in clubbing, but love to meet new people and feel comfortable in most situations. I love museums, but am equally happy curled up with a good book. I also like to try and learn as much as I can of the local language wherever I travel and am happy to help others practice English.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think the best way to understand other countries is by getting to know people who live there! I have had all my best travelling experiences as a result of getting to know people from different places, whether they are fellow travellers or locals.
