I'm from Otautahi/Christchurch, Aotearoa/New Zealand. I've lived here for most of my life but have lived in Wellington and overseas for parts of my life. I've just become a qualified junior florist and am moving to the UK in August. I am creative, passionate and excited about travelling, cooking, the outdoors and the arts. I love thrifting, decorating, gardening and have just started learning jewellery making. I'm really keen to start pottery and fabric printing classes when I move. A few years ago, I lived in a house in Sweden with over 20 people from all over the world for 6 months which opened me up to living in community and understanding where others come from in their difference.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I'm on couchsurfing to be able to experience places from the perspective of the people who call that place their home. My best experiences travelling have always been with people who know the place and can introduce me to the hidden gems and their favourite places. I hope that in the future when I'm settled in the UK, I can occasionally host others at my home and show other people my favourite places.

- Slept in a snow cave I built with 8 others and slept in it for the night - New Zealand
- Lived in a van over summer with my partner and travelled both islands of New Zealand
- Kayaked around the Abel Tasman for 4 days and slept on the beach in high school
- Sailed through the Marlborough sounds
- Swam with dolphins accidentally - Westport, NZ
