Overview
About Me
Just graduated in geography from the University of Nottingham, and moving back in at home temporarily therefore trying to spend as much time on the road as possible!
Not currently taking guests, as I don't in fact have my own home at the moment but one day I will return the favour!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Joined a while ago, but have never used it! Back on it to find places to stay whilst i kayak down the Thames in August for charity
Interests
Most things to do with the sea, living in Nottingham I've been far too far from the sea for too long!
Cooking (and drinking) are almost family traditions, and although I don't read cookbooks in bed (ehem my sister), I've inherited at least some of the family enthusiasm for cooking. The majority of my family live abroad, so I spend a large amount of time travelling and have had the privilege of visiting a lot of beautiful places

Music, Movies, and Books
I couldn't possibly select an absolute favourite, but after seeing them live Lauryn Hill, Santigold and the Resonators are on my list for music at the moment.
Into the Wild covers film and book (and music!) and has been one of my favourites for years
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Kayaked the Nam Ou down to the mekong and in the process was introduced to a whole new world of bamboo liquor, tiger balm massages and bug-eating by the villagers along the way
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am in the process of perfecting the 'lentil crepe' to replace naan/poppadoms for all those gluten-free's out there (but who knows how it'll turn out in the company of strangers!).
Countries I’ve Visited
Brazil, Grenada, Laos, Myanmar, Singapore, Spain, United Arab Emirates, United States
