About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I want to learn to speak Mandarin!

ABOUT ME

I have this tendency to quickly start deep and complicated conversations. Sorry in advance :) My mane language is French but I can get by in a few others.

PHILOSOPHY

Did you know that having fun in life is actually important! It's one of the only things we do for what it is instead of what it will bring us. So sometimes, I do crazy stuff like take a year off work to travel and learn Chinese. Screw you routine! I do what I want!

Also, I think we ask too much how to live longer and not enough why live at all.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have met great people through couchsurffing and discovered places that I would never have discovered without it. Having a local person who can tell us about their city is just great!

Interests

My sport is definitely Water Polo. Unfortunately though, I injured my shoulder and had to give up on it. The bright side is that it freed up a lot of time! I really love Chess learning languages, studying science, history, religion and generally understanding the world around me.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to an unreasonable amount of podcasts. But it's ok, to save time I always listen to them on double speed. And yes, in case you are wondering, I have the firm intention of going crazy soon.

I also love to reed. Jules Vernes, Carl Sagan and Richard Dawkins are a few that influenced me.

In movies, I like all kinds of things. From The Big Lebowski to Baraka, passing by Ghost in the shell.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I hitchhiked my way through the Bible belt in the US (from Texas to Georgia) and went to church at every occasion. It was great! Usually, I just walked up to the preacher at the end of the sermon and say : «According to you, I am going straight to hell. Would you like to talk about it?» As you might imagine cool things ensued :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I did some wwoofing (working on farms) in New Zealand, Australia, USA and Spain.

Countries I’ve Visited
