So I'm Frida, currently living in Stockholm together with my partner and our two daughters (5 and 7) and working as a teacher.We live in a terraced house in a nice neighbourhood about 20 minutes with public transport from the center of Stockholm.
I absolutely love travelling, meeting people from all over the world, experiencing different cultures as well as nature in all its forms. Foreign languages and learning them is also one of my major interests.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Meeting and getting to know people is the most rewarding thing with travelling. And to have locals share their knowledge about the place you are visiting just makes the stay much more interessting.

My partner, Mikkel Flaekoy, has been a member of this site for many years, both staying with people and hosting and we've also had people staying with us since we became a family. It's been a great exerience every time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Our family recently did a year long journey through South America, from Argentina to Panama and where we stopped for longer periods of time in Ecuador and Colombia to work as teachers, study spanish, surf, do Bikram yoga and just have a really interresting and enjoyable time. We are already planning and saving up for our next extensive travel adventure.
