About Me
Hi y'all! It's your friendly neighbourhood Swede! :D
A lil about me: 25 years old, easy-going, very interested in culture, always up for adventure and into anything from 5 hour solo hikes to wild party nights with strangers.
Currently traveling the US for about 2 months (New York, Seattle, California) before I head back to Europe. I’m mostly staying with friends and family while I’m here, but gonna have some downtime in early-mid December where I’ll need a place to stay & some cool people to hang with.
Primarily looking for locals to any of these places who might want to show me around and/or teach me a lil something about your culture over a cup of tea or a nice meal :) Also super happy to meet up with any fellow travellers going through the same spots. Let's try some delicious food, stroll the streets/sights, just chill in general or maybe grab a drink or five! I'm not dependent on company or expecting we hang out at all times, but it would be nice to share some laughs, make some more international friends and have a buddy for those late night city strolls and nature hikes :)
What I ask of you is simple: Don't be a creep. Be LGBTQ friendly. Respect my vegan diet, though by no means do I expect you to follow it yourself or cook for me!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love traveling, I love meeting new people and experiencing new things, but I don't have a big budget to do so. Couch surfing seems like a neat way to get all of those things aligned. After traveling long term for the past couple of months, I've also realized how much more fun a new place can be if you can enjoy it with someone else.
Not in a position to host right now, unfortunately, but anyone who shows me kindness will receive the same in return when I'm able to do so.
Interests
Art, cooking, traveling, anything creative really.... I love animals. You know what, to make this simple, just assume that I would be into it (unless it involves injuring people) because I'm into most things. Everything fascinates me.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: I listen to a lot of different kinds of music, but I have a soft spot for the alternative and hip hop. (Made In Heights is my favorite.)
Movies: I love movies and I have a penchant for the obscure and alternative; movies that make you think. Moonlight, Archie's Final Project, I <3 Huckabees, Mr Nobody, Girl Interrupted, Somewhere, Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind, Little Miss Sunshine, to name a few.
Books: My absolute favorite is Catcher In The Rye. I also love Art & Fear, which is essentially the bible for artists in my opinion.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Climbing all the way to the top of Nipfjället (a big ass mountain in northern Sweden) at dusk, while wearing platform heels.
Being front row at my first Grimes concert, as well as talking to the opening act after the show.
Visiting Sachsenhausen in Berlin. Such an incredibly emotional and impactful experience.
Spontaneously crashing a MENSA party and fooling everyone into thinking I was a member.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'd love to learn about your culture and language, see some nice local spots, and just chill in general. Basically I wanna get to see how the locals live and not just be a tourist.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Good times, long walks, vegan cooking :D, discussions about whatever, teach you about Swedish culture, life in Sweden and Australia. You can practice your english and/or swedish with me as well :)
