Overview
About Me
I'm a happy, energetic 23 small town girl who ended up in Stockholm, Sweden.
At the age of 19 I moved out of my parents home and ended up in Düsseldorf, Germany for half a year. After that the States awaited me so once more I packed my things and this time I flew over the Atlantic to work as a full time nanny in the Chicago suburbs, where I stayed for a year. Shortly thereafter I enrolled at Stockholm University where I am currently studying politics and economics.
I am a very outspoken, honest person although I may come across as shy at first - it just takes a little while for me to feel the situation and read new people. After a good ice breaker it's hard to keep me quiet if there's a good chemestry.
I'm a very determined girl who knows what she wants and what she thinks, but I try to never pass down the opportunity to try something new, which once or twice might have put me in a stupid possition... I'm very courisoly minded and I like to know how things work and why they came to be like that. Bottom line: I'll over analyse.
Since I'm all of those things I will just right now state one thing: I have a boyfriend and I will not under any circumstanset meet for drinks, get to know each others or activitys of any sort where the bottom line is that you are a creepy little guy who just wants to get in my pants. Back off and don't even think of writing to me if that is what you have in mind.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Since I live in a small studio appartment I am very restricted with hosting.
I was introduced to Couchsurfing by a friend of mine shortly before our grand epic tour of the United States, where we visited 9 states in less than 16 days.
Interests
Gosh, I don't even know where to start. Earlier I had a long section bout being a workoholic here but since I'm in school I've quit working and studying doesn't interest me nearly as much...
I like to be around people. That's when I enjoy life the most. On my own i like to read and play guitar and browse the internet, but what I'm really just looking for is to go on an adventure. As in jog to the nearest lake and dive in clothes on, or go to Bali (still not convince so someone please give me advice). I want stuff to happen and I'm not too picky about what needs to happen. As long as they do happen.
The best thing ever however is brunch and mimosas out in the fresh spring air. Or those night when there's a barberque going and beer flowing in the summer night.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: anything that's up beat, preferably rock-/pop-/punk-ish. All Time Low, Simple Plan, Green Day, We the Kings, The Maine, Cute is what We Aim for...
Movies: believe it or not, but I don't watch a great lot of movies and when I do, I don't stick to any specific genere. The last 3 movies I saw that i really liked was: Gone Girl, About a Boy and Inglorious Bastards. However Mean Girls and Out Of Sight are two movies that I can see over and over and over and over and over and...
Books: Complete Harry Potter nerd here. Nerd alert, nerd alert! I also very much enjoyed The Great Gatsby and Pride And Prejudice (I'm trying to check the classics off, of my to-read-list).
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach me about wines and I'll teach you about how to drink vodka like a Swede.
If you want to discuss philosophy and politics and are a hard to offend person, I'm your girl and we'll talk for hours.
Highly open to teach Swedish, basic german, the guitar and if you have kids, I'll read their bedtime stories because I love kids and was an awesome au pair (for real? Is it a joke? Who knows? I don't).
