Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I created this account when I went on interrail in 2016. I had a very positive experience and would like to continue to couchsurf and meet some more friendly people. I like to travel but doesn't always plan ahead before i buy tickets somewhere, meaning I dont always know where to stay or what to do. Therefore it's always good to talk to the locals about their place and get some good pointers. I like meeting new people and believe that people are generally good :)

The summer of 2018 me and my friend Sarah will graduate. Before getting jobs here in Norway and start to pay down our student loans, we want to travel for a bit. We are going to cycle through Europe for a year, starting in Denmark. All we got with us is our hammocks and a tent. Hopefully we can borrow someones couch once in a while and see some new faces beside each others :) I think our butts would appreciate a break once in while as well.

Interests

I like to travel, go on hiking trips, bicycling, hang out with my friends and listen to music, being on the sea with my family, go fishing, snorkeling, swimming and sunbathing (although I never get tan). I also love delicious food and appreciate a cold beer once in a while :)
I would love to learn how to surf one day, and I would also love to go skydiving.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My most amazing adventure so far would be my trip to Africa with my sister the summer of 2014. We went to Tanzania, Zambia (where I had my first free-fall) and Madagascar. I loved it and I really miss it. I am definitely exploring more of Africa some day.
I've also lived one year in the north of Norway, in Tromsø, where I could see the northen lights several times during the dark period, which was pretty awesome.
