ABOUT ME

I am definitely somebody who can not rest for long. I like biking, hiking, camping, pottering in the garden, walking with my dog along the Danube, just sitting at the balcony reading and listening to the wind.

I live simple, I am a little bit green, do not have TV, I live really in the countryside, the next village is ca. 2 km away.

I am not one of the party people (anymore) and this place is definitly not a party place (maybe during the summer), but if you like countryside, enjoy walking up to the hills, cycling in the vines or just sitting with a glass of wine and whatching the sunset, this is your place :)

I am working at home as a freelancer but my job is quite inpredictable, so I am better at last minute requests or mostly I can see my schedule for the next week in advance, but not for more...

PLEASE READ MY WHOLE PROFILE! I LIVE IN A REALLY TINY HOUSE AND THE GENERAL RULE IS THAT MY GUESTS CAN CAMP, SLEEP ON THE BALCONY. Of course in special situations (cold and storm, women travelling alone) I do not mind if someone stays inside but please do not take this granted. I work at home, have a lot of guests and I say yes whenever I can for requests but I can manage it only this way!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had a couple of surfers when I lived in Budapest (especially during the summer) and we also enjoyed other members' hospitality many times. Here at the Balaton, mainly I hosted cyclist via Warmshowers.
