About Me

Hi! I love to travel, meet new people. Learn new languages. Read, write, draw, all kinds of art, nature, health and yoga!

I like to live close to nature and in a basic way. I have studied a course in outdoor life where I lived for a while in a tipi, so this type of life really appeals to me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet new people, share experiences and thoughts and to see the culture of a country from within, plus share what I know of my own culture.

Interests

Books,
Movies,
Documentaries,
Mountain trekking,
(Sometimes) running,
Nature,
Living in a self sustainable way (this is one of my goals when I travel - to learn about organic gardening, or intentional communities).

Yoga and meditation (another goal of my travels is to spread this because I think it is a beautiful thing that I love to give to people),

Art (I love to make it and to watch it!),

Music (I am trying to learn to play guitar for years but I only know the basics - I LOVE to listen to it though, especially live)
And many many more!

Music, Movies, and Books

I like most music, especially Bjork but also school rock like Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd. Folk music (both swedish and all other countries) is also a big favourite and I like to get introduced to new bands and styles.

I like Virginia Woolf a lot.. Doris lessing and the classic Russians like Dostoyevsky and Tolstoy. Plus a lot more. I love to read, and I spend one year studying literature which was super fun!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Oh wow, hard question - there are so many! Hitching around New Zealand I would say, because it includes so many adventures in one answer ;)
