ABOUT ME

Hi! I'm Frida from Copenhagen, Denmark. I'm adventurous, creative, out-going, open-minded, independent and REAL FRIENDLY :)

I recently went to New Zealand for 3 months on my own. I was pretty excited to see whether I'd survive being alone for this extensive amount of time only to find my self in brilliant company throughout the entire journey! I realized how welcoming strangers can be - truly uplifting and inspiring and has made me keen on traveling more. Went to Spain for 2 weeks, this time really seeking out solitude in Sierras de Alhama Tejeda y Almijara. Once again impressed with the generosity of the locals.

I believe in being honest - to yourself and your surroundings.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'll do my best to tidy up after myself and try my best to be an easy, comfortable guest in your home. I'm usually in a good mood and i like cooking a good meal :) My secret skill would be pancake-making. The thin ones that is.

I currently live in a 14 m2 room under the roof in central Copenhagen, sharing kitchens and bathrooms with 14 other people, so I would feel bad for anyone having to stay here - especially since my couch works as my bed and vice versa. I am, however, looking forward to having all kinds of interesting travellers stay with me when I've grown up a little more and have a proper couch to offer in a proper, less claustrophobic, flat in CPH :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Am completely new to this!

Interests

I like being active (dance, yoga, hiking) and creative (singing, drawing), meeting and hanging out with new people. I like challenging myself - this year i learned to do the handstand (against the wall tho) AND whistle (not great but at least there's a sound now!).
I love to trek when I travel and would be a happy kid if you have any kind of advice/information on hikes around your neighborhood/country! I'd love to go fishing, climbing, hunting or just try out your hobby whatever it may be :)
