About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Bring my little contribution for a better world

ABOUT ME

I think I can be a good cliché of a Frenchman (ok not physically). I like eating good food and drinking good wine. I have a bookcase full of french books and if you critizise somehow France or its inhabitants, I feel like I have to defend my country.
Aside from that, I am a pretty laid back guy. I never say no to a good beer, I like going out to try new stuff and meet new people.

PHILOSOPHY

I heard once this jewish quote "If you know that you don't know, you already know a lot". That's my way of seeing things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have done some couchsurfing when I was a student as a host and as a surfer and have attended many couchsurfing events. I have stopped for a while but I want to get back to it.

Interests

Travelling has become kind of an addiction. Yet, I have to work and have no time for big travels but I am always thinking about my next travel.
Aside from that, I am interested into culture, reading, watching series, drinking a good beer and meeting new people. I also play fencing but don't worry, I won't challenge you for a deadly duel. That's not gentlemen's manners :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I have as favorite books Les misérable, le comte de Monte Christo, Germinal which are classics in the french litteratury.
I would say the movies I like the most are Good Bye Lenin and Forrest Gump.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Actually, the things I remember is when I was in a bad situation and how I managed to deal with them. I remember having to be on a 14 hours trip in train without seating place in China or walking through a valley in Jordan without any water left.
At the moment, you see that as a bad situation but at the end you're smiling, thinking how you dealt with it

Teach, Learn, Share

I think everybody has something new to teach because everybody has an interest or an opinion to share and this make you a more open-minded person. It is so interesting to meet someone who is so passionate about something that it gives you the envy to give it a try.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Cambodia, China, Italy, Jordan, Laos, Myanmar, Netherlands, Spain, Syrian Arab Republic, Tanzania, United Kingdom, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
