Hi, I am Fridtjof!
Although my name might be difficult to pronounce, I discovered how easy and enjoyable it is to travel to new places and meeting new people.
Especially wandering through amazing nature and landscapes is something I cherish very much(some people say this makes my inner forest-boy happy).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would be lying if I say that "free" accomodation isn't cool but meeting new and interesting people is a so nice.
The people I met through couchsurfing have taught me that the duration of knowing each other does not matter: Sometimes you just meet people and connect in an instant with them.

Interests

Deciding on my main interest isn't the easiest task as I often feel like I have just too many. But due to time constraints (and my ever shifting and short lived attention) I feel like I can't pursue all of them.
The ones that have been gravitating back to me over the last years are certainly exploring and enjoying beautiful nature.
Paired with this comes a somewhat deep desire to protect our planet from climate change.

Additionally, ever since I stumbled across a little book about meditation years ago("The miracle of mindfulness" - I wholeheartedly recommend it!), *it has been a constant in my life that provides me with peace and something to hold onto in difficult times.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My entire kindergarden took place in a forest. Hence my inner forest-boy came into existence and I find huge enjoyment in the beauty of nature.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to listen to people's stories of how they became who they are and ended up in the place that they are. I allows me to 'broaden my horizon' in a sense, as there are probably as many perspectives on life and it's obstacles as there are people on earth.
One thing that intrigues me very much is to share with other people the dreams/passionsone has in life and what drives them.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I really love my recipe for lentil soup and maybe you do too. I would be happy to cook it for you!
Due to my studies I can also share a lot of unnecessary yet interesting facts about psychology and human behaviour.
As meditation has been a large part of my life so far I would be happy to meditate a bit with you and share a moment of awareness and peace.
