Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Live deep.
ABOUT ME
Knowledge worker (World Bank), researcher, intellectual, media/telecom person, analytical but philantropic, frank but nice, sarcastic but only if you want to, can have great conversations, can't help but not do smalltalk (too interested in the things that matter)

PHILOSOPHY
It's complicated. Basically, I think one should deepen one's character as much as one can. Experience, learn, meet, become wise, be laid-back, don't panic, and hopefully (as a result of that) be happy. Happy is not having fun though. Happy is deep comfort. Long way...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I would like to host, but I live in a place... For the time being, I want to keep my profile up and stay in touch. I've couchsurfed quite a bit, but only a few times actually through the site. Also I've traveled a lot, all over Europe, Australia.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Surfing a couch in Detroit was a great experience; Through my hosts and DEMF, I got to know one of the most underestimated towns in the world. Similar in Phoenix, AZ, Couchsurfing improved my experience of the city by so much.
Interests
Sports: tennis/squash/badminton/everything with a racquet, music: jazz/electro/techno/(older & hard) rock/real hip hop/selected pop, traveling (I'll never have a big car, I'd rather travel places), culture (both arts etc. and national cultures), politics

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
That unique light if you look across the Seine in Paris at sunrise (some clouds, vanilla sky) and the houses glow like the stone was translucent.
