I’m a friendly, open-minded, warm-hearted, interested, good-humoured and good-mannered former teacher (English, German, Arts). I love travelling and the good company you usually find! I would like to get to know many more spots of the world and meet many more nice people on my way! I’m vegan and I like cooking (just in case you’re hungry). 😃

I’d like to meet many more of the friendly and interesting people you meet when you travel from hostel to hostel or couch to couch! 🤗
I love the openness and positive spirit among backpackers.
When I’m in a country or region I don’t know yet, I think it’s wonderful being shown the place (city, village, region) by a local! It’s so much nicer getting to know a place when someone shows it to you who really knows it, don’t you think? 😃

Interests

I am a drummer in a Samba -Percussion-Group (we’re 61 altogether, so that means a wonderful sound!), I do Yoga, I love hiking, I go to concerts, like museums, I read, watch movies, play cards, I knit, sew and I love working in my garden where I grow vegetables, fruit and flowers. 🍅🧅🍇🥬🌺🍃

Oh, yes, I read a lot and I have watched very many movies! I very much like the ones that really work and have a great plot - like Inception, The Usual Suspects, 12 Monkeys, Pulp Fiction.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I’ve been to British Columbia, Canada, last year, where I was travelling alone and backpacking for the first time in my life - I liked it a lot! 😍
