Overview
About Me
I am Friederike and I am currently living in Bremen, which is one of the nicest cities in Germany I would say! :) This March I spent some weeks in Israel and also couchsurfed in Tel Aviv and I just loved the experience, to be able to meet so many new people and to just get so "involved" in a new country without paying anything. Right now I am very interested in going hiking in the summer, maybe in Austria, because I would love to go back to Israel and hike the Israel Trail.
So after working on a farm in Israel and being outside everyday, I am planning to spend my next free time somewhere outside in the nature.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My room mate hosts many Couchsurfers and we both really enjoy having people from other countrys around. A few of them also slept in my room, so I just thought that I can make it "offical" now and sign in on Couchsurfing.
Interests
I am very interested in arts and getting to know new art techniques and new artists. The thing I loved the most by now are some nude drawing classes I have attended to.
Music, Movies, and Books
I have read Murakami's book "Colorless Tsukuru Tazaki and His Years of Pilgrimage" a few weeks ago and absolutely loved it. One of my favourite authors is James Frey.
Although I am working in a small little independent cinema near to my house, I am not really into movies. I find it very hard to watch a movie till the end, but I love nordish black comedy movies like The Green Butchers.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I think going to a foreign country without knowing anybody, was one of the most amazing things for me. :)
Teach, Learn, Share
I am not too bad with cooking, I know how to tidy up my room and I would love to learn some Turkish in order to be able to discuss with the Turkish shop owners near by.
