About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Exploring Russia, where it starts (and sometimes ends)
ABOUT ME
A big deal of couriosity is why I like (and use) CS, so for that it is why I like living in a big city and traveling to on my own to countries on my own. You never know what will come up.
I enjoy spontanous people and the ones who are not afraid of saying a word at a time, where no one else would.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I love meeting the people I dont know yet, who live a lifstyle I dont know yet. I want to see and experience, how you live, how you work, how you think and what you think.
So I guess I am quite open
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
In Warsaw: Meetings and a lot of guests in our house.
I had a marvellous CS experience in Russia, Georgia, Ukraine and Armenia. It was a crazy mix of Syrians, Iranians, Armenians with some polish and german backpackers singing, eating and drinking.
I enjoyed meeting plenty of locals there, too, and I hope this is going to happen again soon, wherever it might be.
Interests
Anything about history, but in a sense of stories being told.
Otherwise I seek contact with many kinds of art, at the moment foremost contemporary classical music, but every good idea is welcome.
Also I am into cooking, but maybe even more in the products than in the preparation.
Living in Poland and having travelled around quite a bit in that region I find the Central/Eastern European Region tremendously interesting. History seems to be alive everywhere you go.
Right now I am learning Russian I hope it will bring me closer to understanding the region and meeting people from all over Eastern Europe and Central Asia.
I guess I am relatively interested in international relations issues.
Music, Movies, and Books
Opera and concerts, but I am open to whatever comes up.
My favourite book changes everytime I am reading a good one, so right now it is David Foster Wallace who is a great observer but at the same time he is incredibely funny
