Matt- I currently live in Barcelona, Spain. For the past year I have been working on art, graphic design, and working as an English teacher in the center of Barcelona. I love anything that involves images or sounds, viewing, listening, or creating them.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

In the past, because I lived in a larger house, I was able to participate more by hosting surfers between me and friends. Since moving to Barcelona, I have only been able to participate as a surfer because my living space isn't adequate for hosting. However, I hope to start hosting again in the future.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't ever had a bad couch surfing experience, and I enjoy the way a host can brighten the meaning of a city. One of my best experiences was in Basque Country Spain, where our host basically gave us a full history of the Bilbao.

I think my favorite travelling experience was driving across the US with my two friends, and almost making it to the other side.

I might be able to give some positive criticism on an art work. I am also pretty adept at fixing computer problems and working with specific programs. And, I think I can cook up different types of Asian cuisine pretty well.
