About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Enjoy summer!
ABOUT ME
I'm a nature lover and haphazard gardener, who likes to ride bikes down hills but not up them.
I like to abseil down cliffs too, but I do like climbing up those.
Currently I'm in my third year of a medical degree, which while fantastic is pretty exhausting!
PHILOSOPHY
Whenever you smile, a light comes to your eyes. When you look to someone else, you kindle a light in theirs. So smile bright.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
In 2008/9 Andrew and I couchsurfed our way through Western Europe and had a wonderful, wonderful time.
Every surfer I've had since then has been lovely and has taught me something new about the place I live in.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Surprising our host by turning up at 7:30am (Switzerland)
Leaving our hosts house at 5am (Italy - and he even drove us to the airport!)
Catching our host with no pants on - oops! sorry about that!(France)
Locking ourselves out of out hosts appartment - when they were overseas (China)
Interests

Music, Movies, and Books
I like music. A lot. But I'm only just beginning to appreciate anything other than classical music (I grew up in a very classical music family) so am in need of some serious educating.
Same with movies. And books, I tend to read/watch the same generic easy-to-digest ones over and over again!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Cycling around the Arc de Triomphe roundabout, in both Paris AND Vientiane (thats the Patuxai).
Teach, Learn, Share
Hmmm. Plants, gardening and the bush are great! There is nothing I like doing more than sharing the things I love in tassie with others. It would be my pleasure to show you the Tassie behind the tourist routes.I like cooking and adore food - but don't always have the time or patience to do so! Please come and share your knowlege with me! (PS: both of us are vegetarian)At the moment I'm building vegetable beds.
