About Me
CURRENT MISSION
to teach, to learn, to sleep on your couch...
ABOUT ME
I'm 25 years old. I come from a small farm town in Kansas. I currently live in Kansas City, MO after a 5 year stint in Denver, CO. I went to school for 2 years at KU in Lawrence, KS. Taking a break to figure out what exactly I want to be going to school for and found out that i love traveling. I like making use of my spare time (usually by doing something outdoors). I like to snowboard, ski, camp, hike, eat, drink, listen to music, and enjoy all of the simple pleasures that life has to offer. I met an amazing girl from Bogota, Colombia who has motivated me to begin traveling and learn as much about the rest of the world and other cultures as possible. I consider this the beginning of my journey and can't wait to start traveling.
PHILOSOPHY
I'd like to see as much as I can while I'm young. I have a great family and eventually may end up living around them when I get older and want to have a family of my own. Currently I am on a mission to learn as much as I can about life around the world (even if all I learn is what other people like to eat and drink). I want to meet people from different parts of the world and create lifelong memories and experiences.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
So far I have hosted 2 people officially, many more unofficially. both experiences turned out in friendships and i still keep in touch with them. i've just recently started traveling so i hope to be on the surfing side of things quite a few times.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Couch surfing has been a great tool, I used it widely in Australia mostly just for meeting people and havin' a chat about the area. I've surfed and hosted now and enjoy 'em both.

Camping through Tasmania and the Outback in Australia was definitely amazing to me. Spiritual AND often action packed. Fishing for food in Tasmania was a highlight.
Teach, Learn, Share
I want to learn spanish. That's one of my main goals in the near to not-so-near future. I know it takes a lot of time. I'm also currently looking to learn how to surf and how to scuba dive while i'm staying in Australia. anybody giving lessons???
