The profile details have not been updated post covid, though much has changed since ... but we are open to volunteers again and an experience in farm life.

Do read through before you send me a request:

I avoid hosting on weekends or other public holidays, it's the only time I get with my family and friends.

If you are coming for a day don't waste your time writing to me because the commute is more time consuming that a tour of the city.

I am an organic dairy farmer and swimming coach. I love life and all the experiences it has given me. Each day brings its share of adventures, struggles in work, happiness in the form of a dog leaping at you with love or a new calf being born, discovering endless facets of my own self, making new friends and sharing peace love and laughter.

I am not a typical couch surfing host. I am not the tourist guide you may want for the usual sight seeing or partying.

The experience on an organic dairy farm is at a different pace, slow and peaceful.

I could talk endlessly about organic farming and cows but I will spare you the boredom ...

I am a host on WWOOF India (Willing Workers On Organic Farms). I accept volunteers in Gloria Land from all over the world for an experience in organic dairy farming. The minimum period of volunteering is 1 week. The volunteers offer their services for 5 hours a day, 5 days a week and in exchange we provide them boarding and lodging. WWOOFing/volunteering has NO monetary exchange.

From a practical point of view my priority is to host volunteers/WWOOFers over couch surfers.

I have often wondered what in my little town of Pondicherry attracts tourists. Is it the French heritage in architecture and cuisine? The inexpensive alcohol? The sea front? ... certainly not the traffic congestion, the noise or the filth, although Pondicherry's tourism is promoted with the catch phrase "Peaceful Pondicherry"

Peaceful it is ... if you know where to look ...
