About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to see the world and get to know it's inhabitants- sounds corny!

ABOUT ME

I'm 58, but in great health.I love to travel. I travel by plane, bus, hitchhiking, and paint the people and their invirons, how they interact with each other.
I know I sound serious, but theese questions are so serious. Other people tell me I'm really a lot of fun to be with.

PHILOSOPHY

Everybody has something to share and to learn from.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

The best way to travel for me is not just visiting the country's museums, but talking to it's people, that's why couchsurfing is such a great idea.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My children, Pippin Frisbie-Calder and Paul Calder have extensive couchsurfing profiles (check them out). They both said 'mom you need to check ít out', so here I am! I couchsurfed once with him in Helsingborg, Sweden and had a fabulous time.

Interests

Travel of course. My husband and I raised our kids on a sailboat in the Carribean. We all love the water.
I love listening to live music of all types. I love eating local food and experiencing it's culture

Music, Movies, and Books

I like watching obscure, foreign language films and listening to all kinds of music. I like reading the histories of places I am going to visit and places I've been and trying to learn some of their language.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Our family sailed to Cuba in a boat we built ourselves, spent 9 months circumnavigating this beautiful island, got arrested for being spies, but everything turned out great.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm open-minded and ready to learn about somebody's, philosophy, religion, passion and to share mine.
