Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first couchsurfing experience was in Omaha, Nebraska. I had no idea what to expect. I've been to Omaha countless times before, but the night I couch surfed was nothing like any of my visits before. I loved it. I saw the city in a whole new way. Travel the world via couch? Yes please.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Ahhhh, the world is too ahhhmazing. Camping on the Great Wall of China. Watching the sunset in the Atacama Dessert. Hiking to Everest Base Camp. Doing a homestay in the middle of China's rice terraces. Experiencing the 2008 Beijing Olympics. Climbing the karst mountains of China. Sleeping in the sand in Okinawa, Japan. Completing the W trek in Chile's Patagonia. Ice climbing a corn silo in the heart of Iowa. Bungee jumping from Auckland's Harbour Bridge. Laughing until I cry, a million times over, with great friends, new and old.

Teach, Learn, Share

I teach English at the moment, but I've also dabbled with photography, writing and climbing. . Besides learning something new everyday about Spain, I want to learn to cook-any and all types of cuisine. I'd also love to shoot video and edit. And of course, despite my slow ability to learn languages, I love to try. Currently I'm trying to find the path to Spanish proficiency. Want to exchange? Message me!
