About Me
CURRENT MISSION
frolicking around in the nature
ABOUT ME
Just moved to Montpellier. I would say I'm easygoing, open minded, interested and respectful towards other ways of life. That's what keeps me travelling- but I guess that's something that most people here have in common? I like nature and all kind of activities in it. But I also enjoy going to cinemas like the Diagonal in Montpellier.
PHILOSOPHY
This was the first english (pseudo-)philosophical phrase that I learned:
Always shoot for the moon- even if you miss, you will land among the stars.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I like the idea of getting to know and to exchange ways of life by hosting each other.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I will never forget when I got stranded on the small Island Ometepe in the great Nicaragua lake because I missed the last ferry. An old Lady who came from selling self made food to the passengers picked me up and took me to her nearby home. I was amazed by her selfless hospitality when she let me sleep in her small house. And then the next day she told me "No quiero que te vayas"
Interests
I enjoy anything that is outdoors. I like hiking, climbing, swimming, canoeing but also open air parties or picnics in parks.

Music, Movies, and Books
My favourite band is Sigur Ros from Iceland, who play and perform their music in a way that can only descibed with beautiful.
I'm always up for movies, but it's hard not name a favourite one. Maybe "Night on Earth" or "Habla con ella".
I like Haruki Murakamis books.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Spending several nights in a tent in the rainforests of Mount Kenya.
Teach, Learn, Share
I could share my experience as different as the determination of plant species and teambuilding games for groups.
