Hi, we're Katie and Chris. We live in a hundred-year-old house in Lansing's REO Town district. We've been together since 2006. We have a cool cat named MacGyver. We're vegetarian quasi-hippies but open to different lifestyles (including omnivorous ones). We are freelancers and we both work from home most of the time.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We enjoy sharing our home and meeting new people. We also hope to do more traveling in the future and prefer to stay with interesting people instead of in hotels.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We've hosted two wonderful travelers so far through Couchsurfing.org. We've also informally stayed with friends in various cities and had friends stay at our place.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Katie: I love being in the middle of music, like playing in an orchestra or dancing at a big party. Being onstage or backstage or in the pit for a theatre performance is also pretty awesome.
