Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been surfing und hosting since 2006. I stayed with a french couple in brussels twice (very very nice people!), hosted a french girl two times, hosting dirk for a week ... staying with tommy in florence ... and so on...

Interests

the world ... although this can be quite disquieting at times. especially that means e.g. cities, society, culture, history, not to forget architecture, photography and other kinds of arts ... as I studied both history and architecture I can tell you about the development of vienna and its more interesting, suggestive parts.

Music, Movies, and Books

instead of an impossible complete list, here is three hints to start with:
a movie i really like: "the taste of cherries" by abbas kiarostami
a song i really like: "house of cards" by radiohead
a book i really like: "le città invisibili" by italo calvino. although recently joseph roth has become one of my favourites. And in general I am also drawn to impressive women such as ingeborg bachmann and pj harvey. not to forget ani di franco ;-)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I find it quite hard to describe amazing experiences in a tiny text box... I mean there is things beyond drouthy words. If one occurs to me I'll gladly share it with you, face to face :-)
