About Me

Hey, I am Dominique, 30 years old and living in Berlin. From what I see I am a open-minded, friendly and respectful person that is somewhat experienced in many different ways and perfectly able to spread chaos if needed. I have learned to like myself and am brave enough to discover the world and myself even further.

Growing up in a small village in the north of Germany I did what every proper German does after 14 years of school: One year of Work-and-Travel in Australia. Equipped with my new mumbling-pirate english I then ended up in the Netherlands to study European Studies. Istanbul, Turkey is where I stayed for another 8 month to study. Eventually I finished my master of science in Political Communication in Amsterdam. Because I honestly missed buying Brötchen in a bakery on a Sunday morning I decided to move back to Germany after living in different countries abroad for nearly 7 years. This is how I ended up in Berlin, where I am working as a communications expert for a social Start-Up called GoVolunteer.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like many different kinds of music. But what I got stuck with troughout my life is Jazz and HipHop, which comes in so many different colors, it is just blows my mind.

One book that inspired me in a weird way was the "Mutiny of the Bounty". A story too bizarre and adventures to be true. Yet it is based on the diary of a guy that lived through this unbelivable journey. Besides, I like many books. At the moment, I am jumping in between three books_ A novell about a lethargic live in a village in Brandenburg, a German region that was hit in the guts during the 20th century. And then two other books about philosophical history.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I´m very proud of quitting my job and actively turning my live to the better.

Teach, Learn, Share

I´d like to learn everything in and about this world and I can teach nothing more.
