ABOUT ME

I'm a very a young woman of 29 years old, obsessed about books. I'm quiet, passionate in some points and too emotionnal I'm affraid.
I love travelling alone since I'm 20, and I have now good friends in different part of the world (thank you couchsurfing :)
Art is for me the heart of life especially since I'm living in south of France, thanks to the incredible energy of this beautiful region

PHILOSOPHY

We're living in a crazy world, but I like finding kindness and care from people all over the world. it feels so good!
I travel alone in some places to meet people of different culture, to open my mind, to fight against préjudices (and also as a challenge for the scary woman as me ;) I also want to help travellers to appreciate my beautiful country. I hope you'll like it :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couchsurfing because I want to have an open world in front of me, where I can easily go everywhere and easyly meet people of different culture. We have an amazing freedom in France. We can travel in amost every country and people love us because France has a good reputation. We need to take advantage of that. So travelling and bring with us the best of everyone.
No fear, ni limit, just appreciate the beauty of our planet.

Interests

I'm a reserved person (autistic) that why I love express myself through writing since I'm 13. I wrote my first novel at this age, a very bad one, but I kept going and at 16, I picked french literature in high school and I had a big crush for Albert Camus, Virginia Woolf and Franz Kafka. My writing began more interesting, engaged and cerebral then. At 20, I had another crush for poetry and I started to write some. At 22, I had families issues and to survive to my pain I wrote tons and tons of pages in diaries (7 total during 10months). 2 years ago I took a break I rent a very small appartment in my student city and I wrote hardly on another novel during 5 months. I'm still working on it and I hope it will begin the "one" that I can publish,
Anyway my body is full of blood, water and words that I need to drink and discharge on paper.

I travel alone since I'm 20. I started with 6 weeks in Sri Lanka, I had a grant from an association called Zellidja to write a short story about the country after the civil war. The deal was to travel alone for a certain time meeting local people and have a project about the country. I had second grant to travel in deep south of USA to made a magazine about protestant people (I'm atheist but very interested in theology) Then I have my diploma from ly association but I continued to travel in the same way making project in Turkey, India and USA.
This is the website of my association http://www.zellidja.com/

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Taking a break to write my first novel! Travelling alone in India during my february vacation! Spending a month this summer in Detroit, the most fascinating city of the USA!

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a teacher, which means any time I travel, I try to pick more ideas to inspirate my students in the class.
Curiosity has to be practised and shared, I'm lucky to get easily passionate about something, and after it can turn into a powerfull and artistic project. That happenned when I saw Detroit, Michigan for the first time, I found something deep inside me, a connection between my emotions and the story of the city. It was like a shock compared to love. That's how I decided to write a story-board about the city and a lesson of urbanism and architecture for my students.
You need to be ambitious, audacious, literature is not only books, it's also art who can be alive everywhere.
