ABOUT ME

My name is Anne and I am living with my husband Sven in a sweet flat in Hamburg. I finished studying medicine in Dresden and I am a doctor of medicine. In my spare time I like to travel, doing sports and spend time with friends in our lovely neighborhood.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I like to travel, but traveling just in hotel is boring. If I am traveling I would like to know the people living there. I would like to know how they live and what they do!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first couch surfing experience was in the house of Albert in The Hague. I needed a couch in Amsterdam but it was very difficult to find. So Albert asked me whether I would like to enjoy The Hague. That was the best idea ever. The Hague is not that touristic like Amsterdam. And Albert was such a open-minded person that made my first experience unforgettable! Thank you for that, xx.

兴趣

In my spare time I do a lot of sports. I go regularly to the fitness studio and use the beautiful green areas in Hamburg for jogging. When I'm at the sea, I love windsurfing. Next time I will try kite surfing and normal surfing, too. In the winter I go skiing since I was 6 years old.

A special passion of mine is healthy eating and cooking. I love trying new recipes and experimenting. Besides, I like to bake for my life. As a vegetarian, I pay great attention to the quality of the products and decided to bake without any animal products. Granny's old recipes are simply improved :)

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I love to travel! So I need to write a book about my experiences (02/2015): 4 journeys are my favorite ones. I try to explain!

- Büsum: This is a little seaside resort where I spend my childhood during the summer with my parents and grandparents. I share so many feelings about this place so I come back every year.

- West Coast of the USA: This was my first intercontinental flight and I did a roadtrip with friends to Las Vegas, Grand Canyon, San Diego, Los Angeles and San Francisco. This was amazing!

- Jamaica: "Yeah mon" or "No Problem" These were the best statements you can use for the day! We booked this flight last minute and didn't know anything about Jamaica. But after this trip we felt in love with this piece of the earth.

- Spain: I worked in Spain in the hospital twice and had a backpacking experience through many parts of this beautiful country - Valencia, Alicante, Madrid, Barcelona, San Sebastian, Bilbao and last: Ontinyent (the place where I worked)
