ABOUT ME

We are two, Charlotte and Pascal, and we have started a year trip around the world in january 2008. We started in France where we stayed for 4 months and worked as guides in Canadian first world war memorials. The real trip began in May. Scotland and Portugal were the first steps. Then we went East: Poland, the Baltics states and Russia. We are now going South: after one month in China now it is time for Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, India, Nepal and New Zealand. We want to discover new persons, new things, new cultures. To try to grasp a little understanding of the world around us and by the same time to know our self much better.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As beginners that just discover CouchSurfing during our trip, it will be difficult for us to host anyone before our return, somewhere in December. But we want to be ambassadors of our beautiful city of Montreal, half American, half European and half English Canadian with two thirds of proud Quebec s French Canadians, without forgetting a good third of around the world people! Just add up and you see how much there is to see. Obviously, we will also give the world the magnificent opportunity to discover our charming personalities!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Before we knew about Couch Surfing, our two apartments were often used by friends and friends of friends, and we also had the chance to visit the home of friendly friends (!). And since we know about CS, we had wonderfull experiences in Krakow (Poland), Moscow (Russia), Beijing (China), Hong Kong (China) and meet very interresting (and helpfull) persons.
