I am artist/ filmaker and and made animations, short stories, documentaries, and two feature film. I'd like to tell stories about normal day life but from such a special angle, that it will make you look back at your own life in a new way. Well at least, that's what I am aiming for. Wondering and philosophing about life is what comes natural to me. Focusing is a point.. well I am working on that one.
I love to travel but these last few years with kids it was a little less.
But I live in the middle of the world, here in the center of Rotterdam. Everything is happening here. For the better and for the worse, but I love it.
Since fiction does take a lot of time and people to realise, I bought a small camera for capturing time and the world which lies just around the corner. So that's probably what I will have in my bag, when I stay on your couch.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Although I am new here I had quite some foreign friends and guests sleepin on my couch. When I am with my whole family it is usually not so practical to find such a big couch to stay. But when I am travelling alone, especially for research I'd love to get in touch with locals in this way.

Interests

I am quite a fanatic Tai Chi practioner. For me it is a way to be connected to my Chinese roots and stay stay mindful.

And films... of course. whether it will be action or kungfu movies, romantic comedies, or heavy Art house... I'll eat all genres, if I have the time. Though Eternal sunshine, Being John Malkovich, Singing in the rain, Charlie Kaufman , Jean Cocteau and PT Anderson have a special place in my heart. But so have the Coen brothers, Steven Sodebergh and many more..
