Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Finding the world.
ABOUT ME
I am me. Well in truth I am me, but only on weekdays on weekends I turn into a pumpkin.
As an avid traveller I have been many places in this beautiful world and I have always enjoyed meeting people whilst out there seeing new people and shareing experiences with them.
I work as a programmer in a bank doing some security stuff and protect peoples virtual money.
I am outgoing and adventurous at times and laid back and meditative other times.
PHILOSOPHY
If you never move you will drown where you stand.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have hosted a few times to wonderful people and been hosted by some very nice and open folks too...So I am currently looking into how I can improve the experience for CS'ers who visit close by.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have surfed in the US and hosted at our home. All I can say is that I have found that you meet great people with a story to tell and great experience to share.
Interests
At work I spend a lot of time in front of a computer screen so I try to get out and do other things like hiking, hunting, fishing, going to local football matches (the game with the spherical ball), hanging out with friends, cooking, going to concerts and reading books. Coffee (I am fairly enthusiastic about it). Beer (It is fascinating what you can learn about a place based on the history of their beer).

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies:
Anything really, but stupid action (replace stupid with unrealistic) when hung over.
Music:
Metal of different varieties, several types of jazz, a good heap of electronica, classical (not much opera though) and Rock, Rap (some) and Pop music (not much).
Books:
Mostly Sci-Fi and Adult Fantasy (not adult in THAT way - really) and quirky writers. I practically only read english books these days, and the non-fiction I read tends to lean towards work related subjects.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The most impressive thing I have seen was the sun set over Ayers Rock just as the moon rose on the other side of the horizon.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you to:
How to brew coffee, how to relax, enjoy beer (only if you are not allergic), bake bread, cook slowfood.
I would love to learn:
How to play an instrument, more languages, to know more people.
I can share:
well me...
