Overview
About Me
I'm a teacher, writer and mother of two boys, married 12 years to Rick who is a musician and teacher. I've been vegan over 3 years now, and operate a Raw foods health website , where I help people recover from chronic illnesses and thrive using raw vegan foods.
Recently I started homeschooling my youngest son and am really enjoying this new part of my life.
I love travelling both overseas and within Australia.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I see Couchsurfing as a great way to meet interesting people and be able to see places through the eyes of locals.
I like the idea of hosting people for free. I really believe in the Freeconomy and the way that it develops community, cultural gain and relationships, rather than capital gain.
Interests
The Freeconomy as a vehicle for creating community and relationships.
Reading - lately alternative health, raw foods, homeschooling, freeconomy and humorous crime fiction (Alexander McCall-Smith). But I love reading anything from the classics to business books.
Love camping, bushwalking, walking anywhere, running, yoga.

Music, Movies, and Books
Generally like Indie genre films and music, although my consumption has waned significantly since having kids!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Last year I hosted a 23 speaker telesummit on raw foods called The Rawmazing Life Summit, where I interview experts in the industry. You can check it out here...
It was scary embarking on this but I feel like I really grew from the experience.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to live sustainably and healthfully on a raw food or high raw diet. I can teach you how to write creatively.
I'd love to learn more about youtube vlogging (how to/lighting etc etc)
What I Can Share with Hosts
Love sharing conversation, laughs and meal preparation. Happy to bring along treats (whatever is your preference). The ability to leave a place tidier than when we arrived.
Countries I’ve Visited
