I'm currently finishing up my music degree from Metropolitan State University of Denver. I started of as a piano performance major, only to realize that I am more drawn toward folk music - raw, happy, sad, real. It doesn't require perfection, it is there to make you feel better, and express yourself in the way that takes care of your soul.
My other passion is sewing, and in general making things with my hands. I studied fashion design in Denver and in Paris, and learned a thing or two about it.
I am an INFJ, according to Myers-Briggs classification. I find most things about INFJs to be accurate about me. I love human interaction, but I am also very shy, and I need a certain environment to recharge. I am not a small-talk person, nor a party animal. I love cozy and genuine conversations, and I also enjoy a silent presence of another person.
I can watch the mountains and the ocean forever.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I was always intrigued by the idea of making new friends all over the world, wherever I travel. While staying at hotels can be convenient, it often lacks interaction with real people, who can share a story or two, and provide good company.

Interests

I love spending time in the nature, explore new cities, museums, sightseeing, visiting historic sites, cemeteries, places that connect me to the history and the culture of the people that live there. I enjoy hiking, and biking.
I also love cooking, and exploring new eating spots. I am a vegan, and I love making awesome vegan (or sometimes even raw vegan) dishes. I'm not a crazy vegan though, and I have no problem with other people's lifestyles. I think that every experience in this life is valid.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love the music of Rammstein, Wardruna, Apocalyptica, Myrkur, Deep Forest, Enigma and some others.
There are too many movies that I like to list. Lost in Translation, Silver Linings Playbook are among them, movies that are simple and profound. I also enjoy movies based on history. Favorite TV shows are Peaky Blinders, Vikings, and GoT.
I enjoy books on self improvement, spirituality, romantic novels, Russian literature, and fairy tales.

Despite being quite shy, I can actually be very talkative under circumstances. I can talk and listen about anything.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Obviously, couchsurfing is a great way to explore new places on a budget. In exchange, I can teach you some Russian, or English, or even Ukrainian. I can also give you a piano lesson, if you have a keyboard, teach you to knit. Or make a vegan dinner.
