ABOUT ME

Currently living in Durham whilst doing a postgraduate course at there University there. I would say that I am a fairly easy going kind of person. I am Interested in meeting and talking to new people, going out, socializing. I have travelled quite a bit in my time, though not really in the last few years. I definitely intend to go somewhere soon.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I live in a shared house of 6. We have a number of sofa's and potentially a spare room that you are more then welcome to use.

I really like the idea of couch surfing, I can really see the benefits for both the host and the surfer. Definitely happy to participate.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I currently have no couch surfing experience.

Interests

I enjoy socializing; eating, drinking, chatting. I have travelled a bit and really enjoy that and intend to get away soon. I enjoy film, which is good in Durham as they have a good independent cinema that is not too expensive.

Teach, Learn, Share

Firstly as a host I would be happy to show people around Durham and pass on knowledge in that respect.

My PhD is in Mathematical Sciences, and in particular I study potential quantum effects associated with black holes. If anyone is interested in that then feel free to ask.

I am trying to learn Spanish, so would be very appreciative of anyone who would like to chat to me.. very slowly.. in Spanish.
