ABOUT ME

I am currently studying at the University of Toronto and traveling through North America.

PHILOSOPHY

whatever people say i am - that´s what i´m not.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Even though I have been a member of this community for years, I have never really participated in it, even though I often hosted people from abroad and I loved it. But after a trip to San Diego and an amazing stay at my hosts there, I want to start getting more involved in this whole experience. I don't have a couch right now (to be more precise: I don't even have an apartment in Vienna right now, but working on it) but hope to find a place and a couch in July.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am pretty much new to this page, and so far I was only hosted twice and I have not hosted. However, I have had amazing experiences with my hosts here in San Diego.

Music: Mando Diao, Metric, Keane, Travis, Jason Mraz, Dawn Landes, Fettes Brot, Coldplay!!!, Oasis, The Killers, Nada Surf, The Hives, Sugarplum Fairy. And Robbie Williams of course.

Books: at the moment: my "Lonely Planet" travel guide of the USA. And basically everything by Marian Keyes and Tolkien. As I study English i actually love reading everything.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I am travelling around for a month right now by greyhound. I'm meeting so many amazing people and find out new things about their culture. So I guess this is a once-in-a-lifetime-experience that I will never forget.

Teach, Learn, Share

I wanna be a linguist. I love languages and analyzing them, especially different English accents. I can tell you what Canadians mean when they talk about touques or timbits :)
