About Me
Hello everyone,
My name is Filipe, 25 years old. I was born in Brazil and I do love my country. This year I'm completly focused working on a startup called Nurture which I'm co-founder and very proud about. We're trying to change people health through design applied to the healthcare area.
I'm a very calm guy, trustable, vegetarian, lover of new tasts and I can say the last 3 years of my life were very special because I've traveled a lot in different countries of Europe. So be sure I've good stories to share not even about Brazil but also about Europe.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Since nowadays I'm living in France to run the startup sometimes we've some extra time and I try to spend it traveling with my girlfriend Nicoli around Europe.
Also we have an extra room in our appartment and we are open to receive someone else when Nicoli's sister isn't there (she's eurotripping).
Interests
The last years of my life I'm migrating of interests like "technology/startups" to things more linked to politics and economy. I'm very interested about how "developed" contries are handling their problems and somehow trying to apply that in Brazil (even in small actions or sharing experiences with my friends in there).

Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite music isn't very "global" so it's a little bit hard to explain. I love some rock bands which were born in the 80's in Brazil (it's the end of the military dictatorship in our contry). Therefore their lyrics are very full of deep thoughts and charged of social critics). You can take a look about: Legião Urbana, Engenheiros do Hawaii and Cazuza .
About movies I'm a big fan of movies charged of conversations and narratives like The curious case of Benjamin Button or a recent french movie called La loi du marché. Also movies with deep thoughts like the recent Okja!
About books I can say I enjoy the same style of the movies I said before.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Teach mathematics for low income students in Brazil and see some of them being approved in the public university (In Brazil it's very hard for low incoming people get in even for me it was - I'm a mid class one).
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share some insights about Brazilians politcs, about education in underdeveloped contries, about our milestones and maybe somethings about the startup world.
