About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Enjoy life and live from love. Is there something else us humans are supposed to do?

ABOUT ME

I try to live life to the fullest and enjoy every experience, good or bad. I live a blessed life and can't thank my family enough for the support they give me!

PHILOSOPHY

Live from a place of love and compassion, and lead an exemplary lifestyle. How one perceives an experience is a direct reflection of the outlook they take in with them.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I try to make everyone who crosses my path feel welcomed and loved.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have stayed with two different host's to date and had a blast each time. Actually, the second host I stayed with was contacted by the first host. He knew my friend and I were in need so he went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. I hope to help others just as much, if I can.

Music, Movies, and Books

I haven't been listening to much music lately, but I enjoy almost everything with the exception of contemporary country. Some of my favorite books are A Peoples History of the United States by Howard Zinn, Siddhartha by Herman Hesse, The Fountainhead and Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand, Stranger in a Strange Land by Robert Heinlein, and The Grapes of Wrath by John Steinbeck. My favorite movie is The Big Lebowski, followed closely by The Quantum Activist.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of my more memorable moments was being in palace square in St. Petersburg Russia during Victory Day celebrations. I had never seen such a strong display of patriotism as I did that day. Two million Russians in the streets waving flags and singing songs. It was awesome!

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a brickmason by trade, but that's something you really have to do in order to learn. I think I offer more support than anything else. I'm not sure what I could offer someone other than love and support. I think I am better at exemplifying what I know and letting others glean what they may, rather than actively teaching. Most of what I know is how to enjoy life.
