About Me

Hey guys, I'm looking forward to know more people around the world. I've never been to solo travelling before. I'm quite new to this platform and thanks to my colleague for sharing this with me. I never knew this thing existed.

I've been living in Sabah, Malaysia for 4 years and if you guys wanted to travel to Sabah, I'm keen on giving you the tips of travelling there. Unfortunately, I did not climb Mt. Kota Kinabalu because of earthquake. I'm waiting for another chance to visit the peak of Malaysia someday.

I'm working in Singapore but my hometown is in Malacca, Malaysia. So if you need a host, and I could make it then I will try to host you. I can only host you during the weekends because I will go back once a month to see my family. Let me know your planning so that I can arrange for it. I will try my best. I rent a room in Singapore,so hosting is possible if and only if my landlord gives me a green light to do so.

Sharing is caring. I would like to share my experience with people around the world. I love to listen to elderly advice about life principle. These experiences are priceless. So, if you are coming to Singapore and would like to meet up, I will be very glad to meet you guys if I'm free.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really got no idea why I'm on this site. My colleague introduced this apps to me. Thanks to one of my Japanese friend who encouraged me to go for solo travelling. Now, I'm keen for solo travelling! Let's motivate more people doing so!

In Singapore, the weekend is boring. So I would like to take this opportunity to meet up with people that are travelling here. Do check out my profile if you are keen to meet me.

Music, Movies, and Books

I used to watch TVB drama day and night. But now since I start to work I got no time for that. You can discuss the plot with me if you are one of the fans.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

April 2016: Bangkok, Thailand for Songkran festival!
This is an amazing event. Party in a private venue which brought by a local friends and got hangover. Check out Ayutthaya if you would like to treasure the historical site of Bangkok. Trapped inside Khaosan road while going to meet friends is not cool. Yet, survived a 2 hours "rally". Hopped onto a local bus and get out of city center to witnessed how the local make a living. Went to join the S2O Songkran festival. It's quite pricey but if you really like outdoor party, I suggest you to give it a try. Once is enough, the experience of partying outdoor with water splashing around. Worthwhile!

June 2016: Gold Coast, Australia
Australia has been one of the country I wish to go. Finally, managed to fund myself to tick this list of my bucket list. I went to Gold Coast for short period of time. Nice weather and people are friendly, get to dance at the roadside while listening to country song. Amazing!

July 2016: Ho Chi Minh City, Viet Nam
Ho Chi Minh City aka Saigon is one of the best trip I ever went. People are damn friendly and hospitable. I went to Cuchi tunnel and managed to crawl till the end of it and fit into the ambushing hole. I get to know some smart ambushing strategies and brilliant reverse engineering knowledge which impressed me a lot. Bargaining in Binh Tay market is impossible according to some local friends. So, if you would like to purchase some souvenirs, shop at Binh Tay market instead of Ben Thanh market as you can save time in bargaining, and the goods sold are cheaper. Head to Saigon Opera House, walking street and check out Saigon Oi cafe.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Currently, renting a room in Singapore. So, it's quite difficult to host. However, if you really need a couch, do let me know. I try to talk to my landlord. Anyway, I'm eager to meet up with you guys if you are travelling to Singapore. I would love to talk about your experience in CS! Cheers.
