ABOUT ME

We are a spontaneous, funny and adventurous couple. In 2005 we met in the middle of nowhere and since then we have spent our time together.
In 2008 we came back from our one year vacation around the world. We moved to Leipzig into our first little apartment in the western part of the city.
The 17.02.2012 changed our life! Paul Willy Wachler was born! Since then we both have a big smile on our faces. He is the cutest little man we have ever seen. Since then we stopped hosting people. But now we want to share our new life with open minded people again because Paul is so easy going. You will see when you come to visit us.
During the weekend we like to explore the city, do sports and meet friends. But we also enjoy hanging out, cook a delicious meal and relax.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have been on a journey around the world - spending most of the time in New Zealand. On our way back we visited Samoa and Mexico and there we had great couchsurfing experiences. That was in 2008. Since than we have been couch hosts several times. We love to show surfers our Leipzig and when we travel we still do couchsurfing from time to time. For us it is always the chance to get in contact with the locals, learn a bit about their way of life and their culture. Couchsurfing ROCKS!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We are parents :-)
We climbed the highest mountain of Spain - EL TEIDE - just in time to see the sunrise at 6 am in the morning.
Skydiving in New Zealand!
Once we crossed the street when the traffic light was red.
Phil hitchhiked from London to Leipzig and had an amazing time during these six days...

Teach, Learn, Share

Philipp used to work as a snowboard instructor for three years. For sure, we can teach you a little bit German.
We would like to improve our Spanish. Maybe somebody can teach us how to surf.
