Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
On days off, I try to get out of the city lights and venture into the mountains, desert, and beaches.
ABOUT ME
Writer/Thinker/Fitness enthusiast/Footballer/Boxing fan/Video gamer/Poker player/Traveler/Avid Googler/Occasional bookworm/DIY enthusiast
PHILOSOPHY
I'm a creative thinker, not a philosopher.
A writer, not a journalist.
A humanitarian, not a pacifist.
Careful, not paranoid. Tranquil, not lazy.
A Cancerian who doesn't believe in horoscopes.
A poet without a pen. A swordless warrior.
I am a jack-of-all-trades, master of none.
I am an extension of those before me, shrouded forever in history.
Now I am an enigma, constantly striving to solve my own mystery.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've only recently hosted once and it was a blast. It's nice meeting new likeminded people from different places. I'm more of an outdoor person (camping, hiking, offroading, etc) and not much of a party goer / clubber.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Hosted two people so far.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies:
The Shawshank Redemption
Fight Club
The Beach
Into the Wild (If you like traveling, getting away from it all, philosophy, introspection, and self-discovery, then this movie is a must-watch. A bit like 'The Beach', but much more profound and raw)
Office Space
Ice Age (John Leguizamo is hilarious)
Mackenna's Gold (Golden oldie. Omar Sharif was brilliant)
Friday (Ice Cube & Chris Tucker)
Half Baked (Dave Chappelle)
Grandma's Boy (if you haven't seen this, you should, because its the funniest movie ever made)
Harold and Kumar go to Whitecastle
So many more, too many to list
TV Shows:
Curb Your Enthusiasm (I can totally related to Larry David's shenanigans, lol)
Seinfeld,
X-Files,
Heroes,
Faulty Towers,
Most Standups (Chappelle Show, etc)
The Apprentice (both US and UK)
Music:
Classic Rock, Hard Rock, R&B, Hiphop, Dance, Trance, Alternative, Lots of others
Books:
Cry of the Kalahari (My favorite travel diary, ever. Very touching.)
Last King of Scotland (The book is simply amazing. The movie was good too, but was an altered storyline. Book was 100 times better.)
The Alchemist (Philosophy for the layman)
Ender's Game (May change your life)
The Old Man and the Sea
The Godfather
Catcher in the Rye, by J.D. Salinger (its the best!)
The Da Vinci Code (if u haven't read it, GO READ IT NOW!)
Angels & Demons (Also Dan Brown)
Discworld Series (Lots of books by Terry Pratchett / Non-stop reads / Full of words and phrases that will make you pee your pants from laughing)
Almost all Jeffrey Archer books.
Robert Jordan book series "The Wheel of Time".
Diablo series (by Richard A. Knaak).
Lord of the Rings series.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
This is the most profound question I have ever been asked. I have literally been sitting here for the past 15 minutes pondering about my past.
And after all that thinking, coming up with only something along the lines of "fell out of a tree when I was a kid", has made me seriously reconsider various aspects of my life. It has inspired me to create my own bucket list.
From now on, I'm gonna try everything at least once! (Except skydiving. Heights scare me).
Thanks for asking this question!
